What does "market share" mean?
Before you look for something, you should know what you are looking for.
Select the Advanced Search option in the Gale Business Insights database.
Type your company name in the search box, and use the drop-down menu to select Field = Company Name
Make sure the Peer-Reviewed Journals option is NOT selected
Also, make sure that you select the Limit by Content Type = Market Share / Rankings.

Only the Full-Text Documents option is selected in the Search Limiters area, and the Market Share / Rankings option is selected from the Content Type area. Green lines are used to highlight these options.
Please note that the second CCIP library instruction session is devoted to the Statista database and creating a business plan, so although the database is mentioned here as a good source for market share information, we will not be covering it in the first CCIP instruction session.
