Using the Chrome browser to search the classic catalog may produce cookie error messages. Clear your history and try again OR use Firefox.
EBSCO DATABASES INCLUDING EBOOKS and OneSearch
Remote access does not work using "Private Windows" for MAC and "Incognito Windows" for PC using Chrome browser. If you encounter this problem, try another browser or turn off this setting when using EBSCO remotely.

OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY
Platform migration in Aug.2023 causes random glitches potentially affecting remote access. Paywall may be triggered when opening an additional browser window, or closing a window but then opening a new session in the same browser. For best results keep only one window open in your chosen browser and DO NOT USE INCOGNITO OR PRIVATE WINDOWS.
WORKAROUND WHEN ENCOUNTERING A PAYWALL: Close your active browser windows; clear your history; start a new session; try a different browser if needed.
OXFORD JOURNALS
Browsing list of issues does not work in Chrome. Use other browsers for best results.
PDFs / OPENING OF LINKS
Some browsers may prevent opening of links and/or PDFs. WORKAROUND for links: Right-click the link and choose "Open link in new tab" WORKAROUND for PDFs: Some PDFs may not open in the embedded viewer and trigger an error message; click on download icon found in viewer window. Other times "Download PDF" may be an option to be selected. Or you may need to right click Download button and select 'save link as'
SCIENCE DIRECT (ARTICLE LINKER)
You might see a message in red "Sorry, your request can not be processed due to a system problem." The problem has been reported when searching between OneSearch and Science Direct, and also between Scopus and Science Direct but you might see it with any other linking to Science Direct. In general, if you get an error message clear your history/cache/cookies or try a different browser.
As an alternative, try searching the Library Catalog if you know the journal name/author or use the E-Journal tab from the library homepage. The E-Journals tab on the databases list has a direct link to all Science Direct platform journals (however, we don't subscribe to all). You can find the journal you are looking for. If you get the error message and see the Article Linker sidebar on the right, try clicking those links because many of them work if we have subscribed journal access.
SCIENCE DIRECT (PDF DOWNLOADS)
Downloading of multiple articles or an entire issue requires logging-in to your personal ScienceDirect account (do not attempt to sign-in via the INSTITUTION link). Individual article downloads are possible without logging-in to ScienceDirect.
SKILLSOFT BOOKS (BOOKS24X7)
FOR DEVICES USING CAMPUS WIFI, MUST USE FORDHAM GUEST UNSECURED WIFI. FORDHAM SECURE WIFI IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS DATABASE ONLY.

ZOTERO AND TEMPORARY BLOCKS BY PROVIDERS
Some researchers using the Zotero browser extension have been experiencing temporary provider blocks due to a reloading loop when trying to download content. First you should update to the latest extension / connector version, then clear cache, try another browser, and / or disable the extension if necessary.
