Fordham Forward Libraries
Update on Services: Spring 2023
Welcome back for the Spring 2023 semester. Fordham Forward Libraries will provide links to library services for the entire Fordham community.
Our goal is to provide you with the resources you’ll need for your academic success, while at the same time safeguarding your health and safety in the unique library environment. The University libraries will adhere to University protocols with respect to prevention and screening measures.
When you come in…
We want to keep library users and library staff as safe and healthy as possible.
Speaking of library staff, we're here and on campus. We will also continue to provide you with the 24/7 online services we've been offering you all along.

Face masks are strongly recommended when you are in any of the Fordham University libraries. All users must comply with University mask requirements, which are subject to change as Covid precautions shift. Violators may be asked to leave the library.
Covered beverages and small snacks are permitted in most areas of the library. Water bottle refill stations have been installed to replace some of the deactivated water fountains.
The libraries have returned to full capacity. However, if the University's distancing requirements change due to Covid, library capacity will be affected and the spacing of tables, study carrels, PCs, and seating may vary.
Library PCs are back in place but we encourage you to please bring your own laptop, jump drive, and any other technology that you plan to use, rather than using shared public equipment.
Group study rooms in Walsh and Quinn are available in the Spring 2023 semester.
Fordham alumni are permitted to use the Fordham libraries provided they have a valid University Ram Pass and proof of vaccination.
