Resource Sharing: Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery
Spring 2021
Expectation of Services

Staff will work both remotely and in-office (staggered schedule).

Fordham ILL Borrowing:

The department will continue to obtain research items for our faculty and student body throughout the semester.  Documents will be limited to digital format initially. Many lending libraries remain closed and will only be able to provide from their digital collections.

 

SEARCH FORDHAM’S HOLDINGS PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A REQUEST.

 

Articles:  Requests for articles will continue to be processed.  

Book Chapters:  Request for book chapters will continue to be processed.

Books: Physical books will be requested on a limited basis this semester. Submit up to 2 requests maximum.  This aspect of service may be expanded later in the semester. 

Document Delivery:  The Interlibrary Loan Department will continue to provide articles and book chapters from Fordham’s digital collection in the event one has trouble downloading.

Submitting Requests: Include full citations along with corresponding ISSNs and ISBNs.  Full and accurate information will speed the ILL process

In addition:  Faculty and students are encouraged to make use of NYPL’s digital collections to complement your resources.
