Fordham University Libraries use the Library of Congress Classification system to organize our collection of books and other resources. This system organizes books by subject.
All of the physical books in the library are arranged by their Library of Congress Call Number. Please consult this handout for assistance reading call numbers. You may also ask at the Reference Desk for help understanding call numbers.
Borrowing books that are not available at any of the Fordham University Libraries requires assistance from InterLibrary Loan.
