Always start your search at the library homepage to ensure that you can successfully access content.
Most resources provide remote access via Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using your your Fordham Username / Password (formerly AccessIT ID). You will be prompted to enter this information.
You will not have to authenticate more than once if you stay within the same browser. Opening new windows in the same browser will not trigger a prompt to re-authenticate. If you close the browser completely and open a new session, you will have to authenticate again. Individual computer settings might impact the need to re-authenticate.
Using a personal computer on campus is considered remote access.
Some resources will indicate if a username / password login is required.
The use of browser VPNs that default to multiple foreign IPs in a day could cause the remote authentication security feature to automatically block your remote access. Choose United States as your preferred virtual location within the VPN extension.
Remote access to e-resources for Alumni is not supported. Consult the the Alumni Library Services research guide for additional info.
