Use this page to learn how to create a CAS SciFinder account and how to search within CAS SciFinder. You can also access CAS SciFinder from the "Finding Articles" tab in this Research Guide.
Creating an Account:
When you click the button to register a new SciFinder account, you will see this page, where you should select "Next":
Then, you will see a licensing agreement on the next page, where you can read and agree to the terms.
You will proceed to a registration form, in which you must use your Fordham University email address, so you are authenticated to use Fordham's resources through SciFinder.
Once you fill out all of your information, you should get a verification email with a link to click to verify your account registration.
Using CAS SciFinder:
CAS SciFinder has comprehensive documentation on how to search within and use their database. See below for links to different help libraries, which include videos and written tutorials.

ACCESS DOES NOT WORK USING VPN. USERS MUST GO TO THE SCIFINDER DATABASE LINK ABOVE AND AUTHENTICATE INTO FORDHAM NETWORK USING FORDHAM UN AND PW. THEN FOLLOW PROMPTS TO LOGIN WITH PERSONAL SCIFINDER UN/PW.
