Theatre: Finding Books

The new Library Catalog is still being refined. Follow these steps to target your search within the catalog:

Step #1: Select Library Catalog from the dropdown menu.

Step #2: Select the field you would like to search in the library catalog.

Step #3: Enter your keywords and press Search.

Additional search tips:

• If the font is too small or the blue & maroon colors are difficult to read, select Advanced Search option.

Find the Classic Library Catalog by pulling down the Collections menu > Classic Library Catalog:

Use the Library Catalog to focus on books that Fordham owns.

Plays & Anthologies

To find individual plays, plays within anthologies, or works by a particular playwright in book format, try the following:

• Search by the name of the play in the Title field (i.e. "Uncle Vanya")

And/Or

• Search by playwright name in the Author field (i.e. Chekhov, Anton)

Criticism & Interpretation

To locate criticism or interpretation of the works of specific playwrights in book form:

• Search the playwright name in the Subject field.

Find items outside of Fordham with WorldCat / OCLC FirstSearch, a platform searching across the largest network of library collections around the world.

At Lincoln Center but need a book from Rose Hill? Place a book on hold and have it delivered to your campus.
