Westchester County in transition. The current West Bronx has been ceded to New York City (county). The Town (city) of Yonkers has been cut approximately in half, to its current borders.

"Modern" Westchester County, after New York City fully annexed what became "The Bronx." Note the "notch" in the southern county border. Mt. Vernon voted to stay in Westchester, while Wakefield voted to join New York City - resulting in an irregular borderline.
