Understanding Research Methods

Basic Web Scraping

Do not attempt to scrape data from library databases or electronic resources where you have paid for an account. Many commercial websites ban web scraping in their Terms of Use/Terms of Service/End User Agreement.

Basic web scraping can be done with MS Excel or Google Sheets. Search YouTube for tutorials.
