What is Shut Up & Write?
Shut Up & Write is an event where members of the Fordham community gather and focus on writing. The writing can be of any genre, including academic, creative, professional, or personal.
Each person works on their own writing in the company of others. It is not a writing workshop or critique space. It can be a useful group for people who want accountability in their writing practice.
Shut Up & Write events are held globally, in person and online. (The Shut Up & Write event at Fordham Library isn't officially listed.)
What can I expect at Shut Up & Write?
Each Shut Up & Write runs for one hour and follows the same structure:

Light snacks and covered beverages are permitted. (Please review the library's Food and Drink policy if you're not sure.)
