Anthropology is the comprehensive study of the human condition, the origin of our species in evolutionary biology, and the development of culture and society in its many variations among ancient and contemporary peoples.

Archaeology is the study of the history of human society, primarily through the recovery and analysis of the material culture and environmental information that has been left such as artifacts, architecture, and cultural landscapes.
