What are Industry Codes?

Industry classification codes organize companies into industrial groupings based on similar production processes, similar products, or similar behavior in financial markets. The two most-used systems in the United States are NAICS and SIC.

Statistical Abstracts is a comprehensive collection and summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic conditions of the United States. Data is downloadable to MS Excel.

Social Explorer provides quick and easy access to current and historical census data and demographic information. The easy-to-use web interface lets users create maps and reports to illustrate, analyze, and understand demography and social change.
