Video Resources from the Fordham Library Catalog

The Fordham University Libraries have access to thousands of DVDs which graduate students and teachers could use to enhance their lesson plans.  All DVDs listed are available through the Fordham University Libraries for a 5 day rental period.

Websites to Use in the Classroom

PBS Learning Media is a website intended to provide teachers with thousands of digital resources that teachers can use in their classrooms.  All of the resources are free for teachers, once you sign up.

 

 Prezi is an online presentation tool that provides teachers with a large amount of space to present more interactive PowerPoint presentations for their students.  Images, videos, and text can easily be uploaded and visible connections can be made between the various ideas presented on the Prezi.

 

BBC Learning is an online resource center for teachers.  There are downloadable Teacher Packs for a variety of subjects.  There are also links to various clips which teachers can show in the classroom to accompany lessons.

 

 National Geographic's Teacher Homepage offers teachers with resources and programs to implement in their classrooms in order to teach students about geo-literacy.
