It is nearly impossible to get an accurate count of how many cities in how many countries joined in the movement, but Occupy's effects have been global in scope, if concentrated especially in America and Europe. What's certain is that the Occupy Movement is more than a local protest of a local problem; it is an uprising of people everywhere unwilling to accept the status quo of socioeconomic injustice in their lives.
