When you are deciding which journals to approach, consider the following:
Curious about the rank and impact of a journal? Fordham does not subscribe to Cabells. The Journal Master List (JML) from Clarivate Analytics may be viewed by registering for a free account, but Fordham does not subscribe to Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
Fordham provides access to the Scopus Database for CiteScore Metrics to help you analyze and evaluate journals.
Log in to Scopus using your Fordham Access IT username and password and explore the metrics embedded in the database.
In order to obtain the CiteScore of a journal in Scopus, open up the database in a browser. Once inside the database, look to the top of the page for the menu bar on the middle right side of the page:
Select the option for Sources. From there, enter the name of the journal you are considering in the search box under where it says, "Search for a source." Here is an example looking for the rank of JAMA - Journal of the American Medical Association:
