Qualitative Data Repository (QDR): Home

Fordham Library Joins QDR

Fordham is now a member of QDR!

The Qualitative Data Repository (QDR)is the first domain repository in the United States dedicated to curating, storing, preserving, and publishing digital data generated through qualitative and multi-method research in the social and health sciences, law, education and the humanities. Fordham Libraries is an institutional member and offers 7 researchers FREE deposits of digital data and curation advisement during the 2022-2023 academic year.

QDR hopes to expand and improve the use of qualitative data in the evaluation of social science research, in scholarly production and sharing, and in teaching. By increasing researcher visibility, the repository induces intellectual exchange by making it easy for other scholars to find, use, and cite deposited data.

QDR membership offers a range of guidance, resources and user support services to facilitate and encourage the storing and sharing of data. The repository is hosted by:
Center for Qualitative and Multi-Method Inquiry at Syracuse University.
