Economics Research: Reference Resources

This guide provides an overview of research methods and the Fordham University Library's collection of economics resources.

Using Reference Resources as an Aid in Picking a Topic

Reference resources can be a valuable tool when starting a search for a topic for a term paper. Look at bibliographies, encyclopedias, dictionaries and biographies dedicated to the subject of economics for ideas.

For example, the subject index in the book 21st Century Economics  (Ref + HB171.A19 2010 V.1+2), suggests topics such as public finance, Fair Labor Standards Act, forensic economics, Maastricht Treaty among others.
