Getting Started at the Fordham University Libraries: Faculty & Staff

Getting Started: Faculty & Staff

New to Fordham? Been here awhile and just need a refresher?

We Can Help!

Research Support

We provide a variety of research support resources and services...

Instructional Support

We can help support your curricula needs...

  • Library Instruction sessions introduce library resources to your students and can be customized to your specific curricula needs. Please use the Library Instruction Request Form to request a synchronous group instruction session in person or online, or course specific asynchronous library instructional materials.

  • Research Guides provide you and your students with a great starting point for research resources in more than 40 topics and disciplines.

  • Reserves materials support your changing curricula needs each semester. Course Reserves (Ares) offers your students a single location to access required readings--articles, individual chapters, links to ebooks, and other class materials--while the Digital Reserves Collection provides your students with a digital copy of the required texts for your courses (if they are not already available as ebooks). Faculty submissions for Reserve book requests can be made through the online Reserve Book Request Form.

Copyright Resources

Have a question about copyright? Our Copyright Resources Guide offers information regarding the basics of copyright and more.

Subject Liaisons

Subject Liaisons can guide you to the person, department, or resources you need for your research and teaching. Which librarian is your subject liaison? Check here or email library@fordham.edu.
