Watch movies in French, German, Italian, or Spanish languages.

>Then Movies, then World Cinema

>Scroll to your preference - French, German, Italian, or Spanish Cinema.

>On the left of next page, choose Languages -> French, German, Italian, or Spanish.

Foreign Language Films

In addition to the library, you may watch foreign language films in the Language Learning Center.

Fordham Library Catalog

Search catalog for books, ebooks, periodicals, government documents, videos, maps etc. held by Fordham at all campuses.

Finding Music or Film

To find audio-visual materials:

  • Visit the Fordham Library Catalog.
  • Type in a title, author,  translator, etc.
  • Using Advanced Search, limit the type to "Audio material" or "Visual material (DVD, VHS, etc.)."
  • Many items are located in the Electronic Information Center (please see below) in the Walsh Library.

Electronic Information Center

The Electronic Information Center on the ground floor of the Walsh Library at Rose Hill has the following:

  • viewing rooms
  • video and audio playback equipment
  • audio-visual materials

Check the Fordham Library Catalog to see if the audio-visual foreign language material you want is located in the EIC.

Searching for DVDs in WorldCatalog

When you find an item, type the title in the Fordham Library Catalog to check status and availability.
