Fordham Modern Languages and Literatures Department
The Modern Languages and Literatures Deparment offers majors and minors in French, German, Italian, and Spanish, focusing language and literature or general studies. The department also offers minors in Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, and Russian.

Fordham University Language Learning Center

The Language Learning Center has locations at Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses. Both locations offer:

Tutoring services
Computers with audio, recording and film viewing capabilities
Satellite television in Arabic, French, German, Italian, and Spanish

Language Clubs

The Modern Languages and Literatures Department sponsors several language and cultural clubs and societies.

ALA-LC Romanization Tables
The ALA-LC Romanization Tables: Transliteration Schemes for Non-Roman Scripts, is approved by the Library of Congress and the American Library Association.
